High Address: This is the value representing the highest address assigned by the range
of addresses specified by the UNITADD parameter in the CTRLUNIT macro of the
IOCDS gen. High Address is a hex value.

Subchannels Assigned: Two information fields are displayed on this panel, used to
describe the number of subchannels that have been assigned, and the number of
additional subchannels available. Remember that there is a maximum of 256 subchannels
that can be supported by each channel interface card.

CU On: This dropdown control is present when more than one ESCON or FICON
interface is present and allows you to select which ESCON or FICON interface you wish
to configure. When only one interface is present, this dropdown control is replaced with
an information field.

Button Definitions

Return: Selecting this button will take you back to the Connectivity Configuration menu
panel.

Update: The Update button causes the information on the panel to update the
configuration file. You must press the [Update] button before leaving the panel if you
want the changes to be made, otherwise the changes will be discarded.

Subchannels: Selecting this button displays the Configure Subchannels panel for the
subchannels associated with this specific CU definition.

Delete CUs: Selecting this button will display all of the currently defined CUs in a
separate panel for the purpose of allowing you to delete CU definitions.

New:
This button allows you to add another CU definition (as long as you have not
already defined the maximum number of CUs allowed). The next available CU index is
used along with default values for the new CU. You will need to configure the proper
values to match your host gen for this CU.

On ESCON: This field allows you to switch from one ESCON interface to another for
the purpose of displaying or configuring CUs on.
