Adjustments to the CSS32 Factory Default Configuration
On occasion it may be necessary to change the factory default configuration of the CSS32
coax subsystem to work in your environment. For example it may be desired to share a
single CSS32 between multiple CCA-3074 platforms. This would require adjustments to
allow for multiple upstream targets and the allocation of the coax sessions accordingly.
You may also need to support multiple CSS32 platforms from a single CCA-3074. You
may also need to support more or less printers than the factory default configuration
allows.
The following information is intended only as a guide to making these types of changes.
For a complete description of the configuration options available to the CSS32 coax
subsystem, refer to the LINCS Configuration manual 707023-00X available on the
www.visara.com website.
CSS32 configuration changes can be made from an attached coax (CUT) display or via a
Telnet connection to the predefined (in the factory) port 1223.
