dot1x timeout quiet-period

Purpose

Used to configure the quite time state after a failed
authentication.

Syntax

dot1x timeout quiet-period <seconds>

Description

Set the number of seconds that the switch remains in
the quiet state following a failed authentication
exchange with the client.

Parameters

<seconds> Set the number of seconds

Example usage:

Set the switch’s quiet period time at 120 sec on port 1/7

24P switch(config)# interface fa1/7
24P switch(config-if)# dot1x timeout quiet-period 120

dot1x timeout tx-period

Purpose

Used to configure the time difference between EAP
request transmit and receive.

Syntax

dot1x timeout tx-period <seconds>

Description

Set the number of seconds that the switch waits for a
response to an EAP-request/identity frame from the
client before retransmitting the request.

Parameters

<seconds> Set the number of seconds
