Setting Options Description
Profile Polling On
Off Check Profile Polling to enable the SDB Server to monitor
changes to the Profile file system and update the database with
clip availability, clip duration, etc. You should only enable this
option on one SDB Server (either the main or backup server). If
one of the SDB Servers is down, the mirror automatically starts
its Profile polling feature.
Mirror Server Enter the name of the computer hosting the backup database
server.
XMOS Server Enter the name of the computer hosting the XMOS Server.
Video Standard PAL
NTSC - Drop Frame
NTSC - Non-drop
Frame Select a video standard.
Categories Lets you define categories for sorting and assigning placeholders
for story slugs. Enter category names, separating them with
commas.
Categories appear in these locations:
• Assignment List Plug-in
• Assignment List Manager
• Housekeeper
• NewsQ Pro Clip Browser
Durations Lets you set six default durations for new placeholders. Enter
durations in the format hours:minutes:seconds:frames.
