Configuring the XMOS Server
The XMOS Server displays communications between the NCS and NewsQ Pro.
To configure the XMOS Server:
1. From the Start menu, choose Programs | NewsQ Pro | XMOS Server .
2. Choose Tools | Options ; the Options window appears:

Setting Description
MOS ID Enter your MOS ID; in ENPS, the MOS ID is displayed in the MOS config field.
NCS ID Enter the name of the server hosting your newsroom computer system (the NCS server).
NCS MOS Server Enter the name of the server hosting the NCS MOS Server component; typically this is
the NCS server.
Backup Database
Server Enter the name of the server hosting the backup NewsQ Pro database.
Video Standard Select a video standard: PAL, NTSC - Drop Frame, or NTSC - Non-drop Frame.
Write Scripts Check Write Scripts box to have NewsQ Pro to save script files to disk.
Script Path Enter a fully-qualified path to the directory where scripts are stored.
