Setting Up Rundowns on the Profile Server
Before using the SDB Server Utility to monitor rundown status, you need to add
all of your NCS rundowns on each computer hosting a NewsQ Pro database.
1. Enter the name of the Profile Media Server(s) you are using.
2. For each rundown you use in the NCS:
a. Enter the rundown name in the Rundown Profile Map section.
You must enter the name of the rundown exactly as it is used in your NCS,
with no spaces. The name is case-sensitive.
b. Select the Main and Backup Profiles from the drop-down lists.
c. Click Add .
The information appears in the Rundown section of the window.
d. Continue to add rundowns and then click OK .
3. Repeat this procedure and configure the backup SDB Server exactly as you
did the main server.
