Reassigning Placeholders to Editors
When you create a new placeholder, the Category field determines which
editors receive that assignment. If you select
All , your news editors also need to
select All in their Assignment List Managers to view the assignment.
You can reassign a placeholders at any time by doing the following:
1. Double-click the clip you want to reassign.
The Clip Properties window appears.
2. Select a new editor, workstation name, or category from the Category list.
3. Click OK .
The placeholder is automatically sent to the new workstation for completion.
Viewing Clip Categories
In the Assignment List Plug-in, you can view the placeholders and clips based
on Category.
To change the Category of clips to view:
• Select a category from the Category list.
The list displays only the placeholders and clips in that category.
Select All to view all assignment placeholders again.
