Caution -
Use a soft cloth to clean the printer. Never use abrasives or corrosive detergents.
The fusing unit can become very hot during operation. Do not touch the area to avoid injury. Wait
for at least 10 minutes after the printer has been turned off and make sure that the fusing unit has
cooled before cleaning the interior of the printer.

1- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.

2- Close the face-down tray.
+
3- Press the top cover release button and open the top cover.
+
4- Remove the toner cartridge and the drum cartridge.
+
5- Pull back on the cover that protects the paper feed roller located at the bottom of the
printer chamber.
