OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT

(2) Key counter
The key counter determines the number of copies that have been made. It is useful for
centralized management of the total number of copies made by different departments, or
by the company as a whole, etc.

Setting the key counter

Insert the key counter securely into the key counter opening.
* When the key counter function is used, copies cannot be made unless the key counter

is inserted into the copier. If the key counter is not securely inserted into its opening, the
message "INSERT KEY COUNTER." will appear.

(3) I/F kit
The copier can be used as a printer if an I/F kit is equipped. For details, see the printer's
instruction handbook.

(4) Memory copy board
The originals can be read into memory and copied in various ways if the memory board
is equipped. See the "(1) Reserving another copy while copying is performed [Add Job]"
on page 49.
* One additional memory (16 MB, 32 MB) in the memory board can be installed.

* The booklet stitcher is equipped with three storage locations: trays 1, 2, and 3. The tray to be ejected and the ejection method vary with the

original setting method and the finishing setting. See the following table.
