About the MIDI implementation chart

and received. When using a MIDI device, compare the MIDI implementation charts

to check that the MIDI messages are compatible. You can download the MIDI

implementation chart for this device from the Korg website.

Tip:

Detailed MIDI specifications are provided under MIDI implementation. For

more information on MIDI implementation, visit the Korg Web site (http://

www.korg.com/).

Restoring the factory settings

You can restore the voice assign mode and trigger mode settings to their original

factory-set state.

How to restore the settings

1.

Turn on the power of the ARP 2600 M while holding

down the MANUAL START switch on the panel.

2.

When the power lamp lights, release and press the

MANUAL START switch eight times consecutively.

3.

The settings will be loaded from memory (the power

lamp blinks), and the unit will start up normally.

After you change this setting, wait for several seconds (while the power lamp

is blinking) before turning off the power. Failure to do so might damage the

data, causing malfunctions.
