Blue-tooth

B LUE- T OOTH is a wireless technology allowing communication between a mobile device or personal

computer over short distances. T his ena bles a hands -free call between B LUE- TOOT H compatible devices.

How to connect to a BLUE-TOOT H compatible device (Pairing)

P airing sequence: P air ->New device -> P roduct Name P IN code

E nter B lue-tooth mode

P ress

to begin pairing.

S elect

P roduct B lue-tooth name and P IN code will be displayed on the upper left side of the display

screen.

Note: The system will remain “visible” to searching phones for 90 seconds.

S elect sea rch for device from you mobile phones B lue-tooth options.

Note: wording and process may

di er from one phone to another. See the owner’s manual for your particular phone for more information on searching for

Blue-tooth devices.

F ollow instructions listed on your mobile device and enter the displayed P IN when prompted.

Y ou may need to set your phone to automatically connect to your Ingenix source unit for ea se of

use. T his will allow your mobile device to auto connect ea ch time the source unit is powered up

providing the phone is within range. T he phone will als o auto disconnect ea ch time the source

unit is powered down.

device owner’s manual for more information.

Making a call

C

alls can be made through the various methods listed below.

T he first option is simply call from your phone as you normally would. All sound will be heard

through your source unit . Calls can be ended or started through either the phone or the onsc reen

display.
