Sea rching your phonebook through Ingenix

T he first time the Phonebook button is pressed Ingenix will gather contact information from your

phone.

S ome mobile devices may require you transfer contact data manua lly. T his is sometimes called

“force“ or “push“. Consult your mobile device‘s operation manua l for more information.

S ea rching through contacts on your Ingenix source unit is simple.

P ress the up or down arrow to sea rch one contact at a time.

Y ou can also press the slider between the buttons to move through your contacts more quickly.

Deleting a contact

Deleting a contact will delete the contact from the Ingenix P honebook. It w ill not delete the contact from

your phone. P lace a check mark next to the selected contact/contacts to be deleted and press the delete

button.

W hile operating in the Blue-tooth phone source the N avi P IP button will s witch to full screen

Navigation when selected. Note: the Navi PIP button will not switch back to Blue-tooth Phone

when pressed from the Navigation source.

All other pull down buttons have standard function as listed in the page 15.

Note: Some blue tooth enabled phones may not support the phonebook feature.

Note: Some blue-tooth enabled phones may cause noise through the system.
