SNMP Customizations
SNMP Community Strings
The SNMP community strings for “Monitor” and “Control” of the devices must correspond to
the HP SR2122’s Read and Write Community settings.
SNMP Authentication Trap Enabling
By default, this trap is disabled in IM 7, meaning it is ignored and discarded. To enable it you
have to edit the settings of RFC 1215.mib as seen below:

Click on MB Registration, then highlight rfc1215.mib in the Registered MIBS scroll menu the
