Using the Shift Data Left checkbox
Use this option to shift the recorded magnetic data to the left-hand side of the card's
Magnetic Stripe.
OR
Use this option for situations that require cards to be readable with insert type readers that
may not be able to read the right-hand side of the card.
Step Procedure
1 Select the Shift Data Left option to apply to all Tracks.
Using the Encode Before Print checkbox
Use the Encode Before Print option to instruct the Printer to encode the card first, before
anything is printed.
Step Procedure
1 Select this option to have the Printer encode the card before it is printed.
OR
Do not select this option and the Printer will encode the card after it has been
printed.
(Note: Encoding the card before printing takes a few seconds longer, but prevents
wasting a printed card if the Magnetic Stripe is unable to be encoded.)
