the miter fence is graduated in 5˚ increments
and can be angled anywhere between 45°L and
45°r.

the angle of the miter fence is adjusted by loosen-
ing the lock handle (

figure 63), rotating the fence

to the angle shown on the scale, then tightening
the lock handle to secure it in place.

3. position the flip stop according to the length

of the workpiece you want to cut off to the left
of the blade.

4. Load the workpiece onto the table saw

(similar to

figure 65) and perform the cutting

operation in the same manner as a crosscut.

to perform a miter cut:

1. install the miter fence on the sliding table.

2. position the miter fence at the desired angle

for the cut and lock it in place.
