The shutter-release
button is not released.

The live view is not
displayed on the LCD
monitor.

Is “CARD FULL” displayed
on the LCD monitor?

Is the power of the camera
turned off?

Are the batteries
exhausted?

Are the batteries inserted
with the correct polarity?

Is the LCD monitor turned
off?

The auto power off function
activates.

The CF card is full. Delete
unwanted images or
transfer the image data to
the computer and then
delete all images, or use
other CF card which has a
memory space.

Rotate the function dial to

and slide the power

switch to turn on the
camera.

Replace all four batteries or
use the AC adapter (sold
separately).

Remove the batteries and
then insert the batteries by
following the +/– diagram
indicated in front of the
battery-chamber door.

Press the display button to
turn on the monitor.

Slide the power switch to
turn on the camera again.
