SELF-TIMER

Press the shutter-release button all-
the-way down to start timer.

• While the self-timer is functioning, the self-

timer lamp on the front of the camera blinks.
As the time to take the picture is closer, the
lamp blinks faster. And just before taking the
picture, the lamp lights up to show the time
to take a shot.

• The beep sounds at the time when the lamp

blinks. (The beep can be canceled with the
menu in the SETUP mode)

• When the subject is not in the center of the

frame, use the focus lock function. (See
page 38)

• After taking the self-timer shot, the single-

shot mode returns.

* Do not press the shutter- release button when standing in front of the camera. The

camera cannot adjust the focus.

* To cancel the self-timer shot, rotate the function dial to

, PC or SETUP.
