Problem solving guide
With the aid of the following guide, minor problems can be corrected without a
service call.
Any work required on the electrical components of the appliance should only
be performed by a qualified and trained person in accordance with local and
national regulations. Unauthorized repairs could be dangerous.
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The dishwasher does
not start.
The door is not closed
tightly. Close the door com-
pletely.
The machine is not
plugged in. Insert the plug.
The circuit breaker is de-
fective or has “tripped”. Reset the circuit breaker.
The dishwasher is not
turned on. Press the “On” button and
select a program.
A program has not been
selected. Press the desired pro-
gram button.
Shortly after the pro-
gram starts, the dish-
washer stops.
The “Intake/Drain” light
flashes.
The water valve is closed. Turn off the dishwasher,
open the valve, and
restart the program.
The dishwasher stops
during a program.
The circuit breaker has
“tripped”. Reset the circuit breaker.
