White residue is visible
on cutlery and dishes,
and clouding is evident
on glasses; the residue
can be wiped off.

Not enough rinse aid was
dispensed.

The salt reservoir is
empty.

The “Salt - PC” indicator
is lit. See “Filling the salt
reservoir”.

The water softener is set
too low.

Change to a higher set-
ting; see “Before using
the first time”.

The salt reservoir cap is
not screwed on properly.

Screw the cap on firmly.

Phosphate free detergent
was used.

Try a detergent contain-
ing phosphates.

Glasses are dull and
discolored and the film
cannot be wiped off.

Glasses are not dish-
washer safe.

This is permanent and
cannot be reversed. Use
glasses that are dish-
washer safe.

The dishes are not dry
or there is streaking on
glassware and cutlery

Not enough rinse aid was
dispensed or the rinse aid
reservoir is empty.

Increase the dosage or

The dishes were un-

lid cannot be closed.

Detergent residue may be
blocking the latch.

Clean out the residue
