Problem Possible cause Remedy
The dishwasher stops
during a program.
Not enough water is en-
tering the machine.
The “Intake/Drain” indica-
tor flashes. Before searching for the
problem:
Turn off the dishwasher.
– Open the water valve
completely.
– Check the intake filter
and clean it if neces-
sary, see “Cleaning the
intake filter”.
– Check the water level
and increase the intake
time if necessary, see
“Checking the water
level”.
Drainage is restricted -
water is still inside the
dishwasher at the end of
a program. The “In-
take/Drain” indicator
flashes. Before searching for the
problem:
Turn off the dishwasher.
– Check for kinks in the
drain hose.
– Clean the drain pump
and non-return valve,
see “Cleaning the drain
pump and non-return
valve”.
– Clean the combination
filter, see “Cleaning the
dishwasher filters”.
The indicator lights next
to program buttons 1 to
5 flash.
A service call may be
needed. – Turn off the dishwasher
and restart.
If the indicators flash
again:
– Call the Miele Techni-
cal Service Depart-
ment.
