Controls and Modes

2. Make sure the Nº32 and all associated components are powered

off.

3. Make Link connections while referring to Table 4-2 on page 4-

16 and Figure 4-2. In general, components must be linked as
follows: digital audio processor, to digital transport(s), to Nº32,
to power amplifier(s).

4. When Link connections have been made, power on linked

components ONE AT A TIME in the order specified below.
Allow each component to complete its initialization sequence
before proceeding to the next component.

A. Digital Audio Processor

B. Digital Transport(s)

C. Nº32

D. Power Amplifier(s)

At this point, the front panel standby LEDs on all linked
components should be blinking in unison.

Note that linked components must be powered on ONE AT A
TIME in the order specified above to ensure proper functioning

Step A:

Connect the digital audio processor master
port to the digital transport slave in port.

Reference Preamplifier

Step B:

Connect the Nø32 amplifier communication
port to the first power amplifier input
port.

Step C:

Connect the first power amplifier

control port to the second power amplifier
input port. If no additional power
amplifiers are included in the slave chain,
the last power amplifier control port
is not connected.
