Strain-relief
clamp
Use
this
clamp
to
provide
strain
relief
on
the
power
cord.
Secure
the
clamp
tightly
with
the
power-supply
clamp-nut.
Removing
a
power
supply

remove
the
cover
on
a
power
supply
or
any
part
that
has
the
following
label
attached.
Hazardous
voltage,
current,
and
energy
levels
are
present
inside
any
component
that
has
this
label
attached.
There
are
no
serviceable
parts
inside
these
components.
If
you
suspect
a
problem
with
one
of
these
parts,
contact
a
service
technician.
To
remove
a
hot-swap
power
supply,
perform
the
following
steps:
1.
DS4100
single-controller
storage
server
only:
If
you
are
replacing
a
working
(non-failed)
power
supply
on
a
DS4100
single-controller
storage
server,
you
must
stop
all
I/O
activity
and
turn
off
power
to
the
storage
server
before
replacing
the
power
supply.
Go
to
and
follow
the
procedure
described
there
before
proceeding
with
the
following
steps.
If
you
are
replacing
a
failed
power
supply
on
a
DS4100
single-controller
storage
server,
you
do
not
need
to
power
down
the
storage
server
before
replacing
the
failed
power
supply.
2.
Turn
off
the
ac
power
switch.
