• From the Outbox

Select and open the mail to be deleted, then
select [Delete]. Or, select the check box beside
the mail, then select [Delete selected].

Just as you might enclose pictures or drawings
when writing a letter by hand, you can attach
pictures and movies taken with a digital camera
to your mail. You can select the picture or movie
file you want to attach from those saved in the
album or on a “Memory Stick” (for the LF-X1) or
an a CompactFlash card (for the LF-X5).

Note

If the size of a mail including attached pictures and
movies exceeds about 5 MB, you cannot send the mail.
The list of attached pictures displays the total size of all
attached pictures and movies (

1 page 113).

Enter the subject, text, and recipient of the
mail.

Select [Attach].

The picture selection window appears.

Select the check box for a picture or movie,
then select [Attach].

To attach multiple pictures or movies, select
the check box next to each.
To attach images saved on a “Memory Stick”
(for the LF-X1) or a CompactFlash card (for
the LF-X5), select the desired Folder tab.

Tip

If you select a picture, the picture is enlarged. To
restore the previous display, touch the picture
again.

Note

The

icon appears to the right of images that

exceed 4 MB to indicate that you cannot attach
and send them. For movies, the

icon appears.

An error message appears if you select [Attach]
when the total size of the attached images and
movies exceeds 4 MB. If this happens, reduce the
number of attached pictures or movies.

The selected picture is displayed in the
[Compose E-mail] window.
