Commercial

These buyers need trucks that are
able to do a specific job. Their
reasons for buying may be just
as specific, for example:
• A functional and dependable

vehicle with low acquisition cost

• Low operating cost
• High power and torque

requirements

Commercial customers are
expected to make up about
20 percent of the Super Duty
market. Super Duty Pickups offer
these buyers a variety of weight
classes, heavy-duty suspensions,
powerful powertrains and a
number of heavy-duty options.

Small Business

This category includes single-
vehicle owners/operators or those
with fewer than five vehicles.
Many of these buyers are “mixed
use” operators, meaning that they
use their vehicles for both business
and personal purposes. Small-
business customers are expected
to account for about 30 percent
of the Super Duty market. Because
their work trucks may also double
as family vehicles, these buyers
may be especially interested in
comfort and convenience features.

Heavy-duty
Recreational

These customers want a truck with
enhanced towing capabilities for
a large travel trailer, multi-horse
trailer or heavy boat. They’re
also looking for trucks that can
be used as campers. These
buyers are expected to make up
about 50 percent of the Super
Duty market. Because of their
special requirements for towing,
off-road use or extra passengers,
these buyers may be especially
interested in four-wheel drive,
dual-rear-wheel models or the
4-door SuperCab or Crew Cab.

Commercial Account Programs

For commercial customers, buying an F-250/F-350/F-450 Super Duty
Pickup is a big investment. Ford’s limited warranty and optional
service plans will help them be sure they are making a smart one.
• Commercial customers choosing an F-Series Super Duty Pickup get

thousands of qualified service technicians available well beyond
the standard 9-to-5 business day

• Ford Motor Company Business Preferred Network (BPN) is

a cohesive and comprehensive approach to the small to
midsized commercial/fleet sales, parts and service, and
financial services business
– BPN combines existing commercial/fleet business activities

such as Quality Fleet Care, QualityCare Maintenance (QCM),
Around the Wheel (AtW), Commercial Service Plus, etc.

– BPN was created to help your dealership identify and adapt to

the demands of the local commercial/fleet market

– BPN focuses on the development of long-term relationships

with local commercial/fleet businesses operating between
5 and 50 vehicles

• Through the Uptime-Critical Parts Program, Ford Customer Service

Division provides 24/7/365 service to commercial truck customers
with emergency “vehicle-down” parts delivery the next business
day. The Uptime-Critical Parts Program Center stocks such essential
parts for vehicle operation:
– Uptime-Critical Parts Program can ONLY be used to support

critical commercial truck needs outside of “normal” FCSD order-
processing business hours as follows:

Monday through Sunday — from the customer’s facing

depot’s local emergency cutoff time until midnight ET. The only
exception to this is heavyweight parts (150+ lbs.) where the
order cutoff time will be 11 p.m. ET, and delivery is second
day by 4:30 p.m. local time. This is to allow extra handling
time required for such parts. Orders placed on Friday,
Saturday or Sunday will be delivered Tuesday

– Vehicle Down orders will ONLY be taken beyond normal

Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) emergency order-
processing hours. Customers will still be required to submit their
normal daily and emergency requirements through the normal
FCSD channels

– All critical powertrain parts, including engines and transmissions
– Electrical and chassis parts, including axles, springs and wheels

• The program supports the following Ford commercial vehicles:

– F-250/F-350/F-450 Super Duty Pickups
– F-350/F-450/F-550 Super Duty Chassis Cabs
– F-650/F-750 Super Duty Chassis Cabs
– LCF
– E-Series commercial vehicles

• Orders may be placed by calling the Customer Service
