F-450 Super Duty
The new F-450 Super Duty ® Pickup is the only production
Class 4 pickup on the market. It gives you unprecedented
capability to offer your customers who tow horse trailers or
large recreational campers, or who need the added capability
for commercial applications.
Available in 4x2 and 4x4 Crew Cab configurations, F-450
includes the following standard equipment:
• 6.4L Power Stroke
® V-8 turbo diesel with standard
6-speed manual transmission (TorqShift ® 5-speed automatic
is optional)
• Standard 4.30 limited-slip rear axle; optional 4.88
limited-slip rear axle (included with High Capacity Trailer
Tow Package
(1) )
• Wide pickup frame with 56-inch CA (Cab-to-Axle)
• New rear leaf-spring suspension and radius arm front
suspension from F-450 Super Duty Chassis Cab
• Large 35mm front stabilizer bar
• Best-in-class
(2) Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)
of 14,500 lbs.
• Best-in-class (2) maximum payload of 6120 lbs. when
properly equipped
• Best-in-class (2) maximum Gross Combined Weight Rating
(GCWR) of 33,000 lbs.
• Best-in-class (2) maximum towing capacity of 24,500 lbs.
(5th-wheel), 16,000 lbs. (conventional) when properly

• F-450 is speed limited to 81 mph
– Due to 19.5-inch tires used, tires and vehicle are speed
rated at 81 mph for safety reasons
– F-250/F-350 Super Duty Pickups are also speed limited,
but at a higher mph due to different size tires used
