TGM-DVC DVI to Composite Video Converter
The TGM-100 is the only Media Server to be designed
from the ground up to work with all current ELAN touch
panels. It is necessary to use a Sunfi re TGM-DVC DVI to
Composite Video Converter (available separately) in order
to use the TGM-100's Touchpanel Output features with
wired ELAN touch panels (wireless ELAN touch panels
do not require the use of a TGM-DVC). This output allows
the homeowner to view and control the TGM-100 with the
convenience of full touchscreen functionality in any room
of the house. Full installation details and specifi cations are
available in the TGM-DVC Installation Manual.
To connect a touch panel to the TGM-100 using a TGM-
DVC Composite Video Converter:
Connect the USB cable included with the TGM-DVC •
between one of the USB ports on the TGM-100 and
the USB port on the TGM-DVC.
Connect the DVI cable included with the TGM-DVC •
between the DVI port on the TGM-100 and the DVI port
on the TGM-DVC
Connect a Composite Video cable between the •
Composite Video port on the TGM-DVC and the touch
panel to be used to control the TGM-DVC.
This method can also be used to connect to a •
composite video switcher that links multiple touch
panels.
