Discovering Ethernet Settings on a Mac

Click on the Apple symbol to display the

Apple Menu.

Click on

System Preferences.

The System Preferences menu will be displayed.

Double click on the

Network icon.

The Ethernet settings are available from this screen.
Based on these settings, choose settings for the TGM-100
as described previously.

IR Issues

If the TGM-100 is failing to respond to button presses on
the remote control, there are a number of possible causes:

The IR signal is not reaching the TGM-100

If you are using a multi-room control system or infrared

distribution system, check the connections to ensure
that the signal is reaching the TGM-100

The remote control is incorrectly programmed

The TGM-100 remote control must be programmed to

match the user interface you are controlling. By default
the remote is confi gured for use with Output 1. The
confi guration may need to be reset. See the section
entitled Confi guring the Remote with a Default
Output
.

The batteries are dead

Change the batteries in the remote control.

Resetting the UI

Should the TGM-100's UI become unresponsive (the
system does not respond to IR commands), the following
pocedure may be used to reset the UI without having to
reboot the ystem.

Using the remote control, simultaneously press the

Audio Server and the OSelect buttons. Hold both
buttons until the Audio Server button remains solidly lit,
then release both buttons.

Using the number pad, enter the code that controls the

specifi c unit you are working with (Server=101, Client
#1=102
, Client #2=103, etc.).

Press the

Audio Server button one you have entered

the code. It will fl ash, indicating it has saved the code.

Press the

1 button to reset the TV UI. Press the 2

button to reset the Touch Panel UI.

To place the remote control back to its original

confi guration, repeat the steps listed, but use the
codes: Server=001, Client #1=002, Client #2=003,
etc.

After these steps are complted, you should be able to fully
control the system. Should you encounter a screen that
says "Loading", additional issues are present and you will
need to restart the TGM-100.

Programming software for ELAN touch panels contains
commands to reset the UI on the TGM-100, as well.
