TWO-SIDED COPYING

Two-sided copies can be made by manually placing originals on the platen glass as described in the
procedure below. Fully automatic two-sided copies can be made from one-sided originals. Additionally,
fully automatic two-sided copying of two-sided originals or one-sided copying of two-sided originals can
be made.

NOTES:

Paper sizes that can be used are 8-1/2" x 11", 8-1/2" x 11"R, 8-1/2" x 13", 8-1/2" x 14", 11" x
17", A5, B5, B5R, A4, A4R, B4, and A3.

The image for the second side can be rotated 180

° top to bottom to allow tablet type binding.

Two-sided copies from one-sided originals

Using the RSPF

Paper sizes that can be used in the duplex copy mode are 8-1/2"x 11", 8-1/2" x 11"R, 8-1/2" x 13", 8-
1/2" x 14", and 11" x 17" (A5, B5, B5R, A4, A4R, B4, and A3).

Ensure that no original is left on the platen glass. Adjust the original
guides to the size of the originals and set the originals face up in the
document feeder tray.

If an uneven number of originals are set, the last copy will be one-sided.

Press the 2-SIDED COPY key.

The 2-sided copy mode selection screen will appear.
