Only alphanumeric and decimal entries are accepted at the positions

•
video PID (channel identification),
•
audio PID,
•
PCR PID (PCR = channel clock reference) and
•
audio PID dig.
Incorrect PID entries are indicated with the
displayed message
Press the
L
button 3x to return to the TV screen. Confirmation is given that your
changes have been saved and the information display of the channel currently
received appears for several seconds on the screen.
The new channel is added to the end of the existing channel list.
You can obtain the necessary PIDs from relevant TV and satellite magazines as
well as from SAT 1 video text. Refer to section "Notes on operation" for information
on how to make alphanumeric entries.
Never change the PIDs without good reason as they affect the identification of the
reception signal.
To add an analogue channel
Analogue TV channels always occupy one transponder. Follow the same
procedure as for setting up an analogue transponder (see section "Analogue
transponder").
Analogue channel lists
When receiving analogue channels, press
i
to select the channel list which is
displayed in white. To identify the required channel move the arrow on the left side
of the list line-by-line by pressing the
-+
buttons and page-by-page by pressing
the
ou
buttons.
The indicated channel is selected by pressing
O
and the information bar is briefly
displayed in white.
