Selecting Offset Direction

Select whether the transmit frequency will be higher (+)
or lower (–) than the receive frequency.

Press [F], [SHIFT].

Each time you repeat this key operation, the offset direction
changes as shown below.

If the offset transmit frequency falls outside the allowable
transmit frequency range, transmitting is inhibited until
the transmit frequency is brought within the band limits
by one of the following methods:

Move the receive frequency further inside the band.

Change the offset direction.

Note:

While using a split memory channel or transmitting, you cannot

change the offset direction.

Flow Chart for Repeater Access

Select a band.

Select a receive frequency.

Select an offset direction.

Select an offset frequency.

Activate the Tone function, if necessary.

Select a tone frequency, if necessary.

Press Mic [PTT].
