Ringer off ” will flash for about 45 seconds
before the unit returns to the standby mode

information in the directory, the directory memory
is full (p. 44, 51).

pressed while the base unit was not in
the standby mode.
The unit is in answering system programming
mode (p. 24).
The handset is operating the answering system

During a programming procedure, the handset
