“ Listening to Messages
From the Handset
If someone else is in the room and you want to listen to the recorded
messages privately, you can use the handset.
1 Handset:
Press
(RECALL/PLAYBACK) .
≥ The number of new messages is heard on the handset.
2 Base unit:
To listen to new messages, press
(NEW\MESSAGE) briefly.
To listen to all messages, press
and hold
(NEW\MESSAGE) until
playback starts.
≥ The messages will be heard on
the handset.

(REPEAT/REW) , (SKIP/FF) and
(STOP/EXIT)
can also be used during
playback (p. 67).
3 When finished, press
(RECALL/PLAYBACK) or place
the handset on the base unit.
≥ You can also listen to messages without using the base unit. See page 82.
