❒ Even if you change this setting, there is no

output unless you switch the non fading out-
put (refer to page 83) or subwoofer output
(refer to page 83) in the audio menu on.

❒ If you change the subwoofer controller, sub-

woofer output and non fading output in the
audio menu return to the factory settings.

❒ Both rear speaker leads output and RCA rear

output are switched simultaneously in this
setting mode.

press the A.MENU (AUDIO) button.

output, set for subwoofer “REAR
SPEAKER:SUBWOOFER
”.

❒ When the rear output setting is “REAR

SPEAKER:SUBWOOFER”, you cannot
change the subwoofer controller.

Switching the Muting/Attenua-
tion

When the navigation outputs the guidance voice,
or when a mute signal has been received from
the yellow/black lead connected to the Pioneer
AV Head Unit, the audio volume is muted or
attenuated.
This function is activated in the following condi-
tion:

— When “MUTE” or “ATT” is selected in the

mute setting.

— When “On” is selected in “Mute Setting”.

❒ The sound is turned off, “MUTE” is displayed

and no audio adjustments are possible.

❒ The sound is attenuated, “ATT” is displayed

and no audio adjustments, except volume
control, are possible.

❒ Operation returns to normal when the phone

connection is ended or when the navigation
guidance and voice operation are ended.

❒ The guidance voice of navigation isn’t muted

or attenuated when a call is made or received.
