Press (TONE) before entering access numbers which require tone dialing.
≥ The dialing mode changes to tone. You can enter numbers to access an
answering service, electronic banking service, etc. When you hang up, the mode
will return to pulse.
Muting Your Conversation

Cordless handset:
Press
(MUTE/FUNCTION) while talking.
≥ “ <MUTE> ” flashes.
Base unit:
Press
(MUTE) while talking.
≥ “ <MUTE> ” flashes.
≥ The other party cannot hear your voice but you can hear theirs.
≥ To release the mute, press
(MUTE/FUNCTION)
on the cordless handset or
(MUTE) on the base unit.
