Security Code Setting (Cordless\Handset\&\Base\Unit)
If “ No link to base. Walk closer to base & try again ” is
displayed even if you use the cordless handset near the base unit, the
cordless handset may lose communication with the base unit. It is
necessary to set the same security code between the base unit and
cordless handset. Follow the steps below.
1 Base unit:
Press
(FUNCTION/EDIT) .
2 Press (7) , (3) , then (4) .
≥ No sound is present each time you press the
dialing button. Confirm that the display on the
right will be shown after pressing the buttons.
3 Cordless handset:
Press
(MUTE/FUNCTION) .
4 Press (7) , (3) , then (4) .
≥ No sound is present each time you press the
dialing button. Confirm that the display on the
right will be shown after pressing the buttons.
≥ After the setting is completed, “ Portable
Registered ” is displayed and a beep sounds
from the base unit and cordless handset.
≥ 3 beeps sound and “ Error!! ” is displayed when you fail to set the security
code. Try again from step 1.
