Algorithm

Similar to gearing, in a camming application, a slave axis can perform any
move when camming is enabled. The move profile is superimposed over
the camming profile.

Designate a Master

Camming Device

The device can be one of the following:
• an axis

• an encoder

• an analog sensor

The slave axis now moves in
proportion to the master device.
