Remote Controller
AMP/TUNER mode is used to control the TX-L55.
To select AMP/TUNER mode, press the REMOTE
MODE [AMP] button.
For detailed information, refer to the pages in
parenthesis.
A STANDBY button (29)
This button is used to set the TX-L55 to Standby.
B ON button (29)
This button is used to turn on the TX-L55.
C TONE, [–] & [+] buttons (52)
These buttons are used to adjust the bass and treble.
D INPUT SELECTOR buttons (31–33)
These buttons are used to select the input source.
E DIMMER button (34)
This button is used to adjust the display brightness.
F Arrow [ ]/[ ]/[ ]/[ ] & ENTER button
This button is used to select and adjust settings.
G CH +/– button (37)
This button is used to select radio presets.
H RETURN button
This button is used to return to the previous screen
when changing settings.
I DISPLAY button (38, 46)
This button is used to display various information
about the currently selected input source.
J Listening mode buttons (39)
DIRECT button
This button is used to select the Direct listening
mode.
STEREO button
This button is used to select the Stereo listening
mode.
SURR button
This button is used to select the Dolby and DTS lis-
tening modes.
DSP button
This button is used to select the Onkyo original DSP
(digital signal processor) listening modes.
K TUN–, TUN+, TUN M & P MEM buttons (36,
37)
These buttons are used with the tuner.
L TEST TONE, CH SEL, LEVEL– & LEVEL+
buttons (30, 31, 44)
These buttons are used to adjust the level of each
speaker individually.
M L.NIGHT button (44)
This button is used to set the Late Night function.
N REMOTE MODE buttons
These buttons are used to select the remote con-
troller modes. When you use the remote controller,
the mode button for the currently selected mode
lights up.
O SLEEP button (35)
This button is used to set the Sleep function.
P VOL / button (33)
This button is used to set the volume of the TX-L55.
Q SETUP button
This button is used to access various settings.
R MUTING button (34)
This button is used to mute the TX-L55.
S CINE FLTR button (44)
This button is used to set the CinemaFILTER
function.
