Front & Rear Panels

A

STANDBY/ON button (29)

This button is used to set the TX-L55 to On or
Standby.

B

STANDBY indicator (29)

This indicator lights up when the TX-L55 is in
Standby mode, and it flashes while a signal is being
received from the remote controller.

DISPLAY button (46)

This button is used to display various information
about the currently selected source.

D

Remote control sensor (7)

This sensor receives control signals from the remote
controller.

LISTENING button (39)

This button is used to select the listening modes. It’s
illuminated while the TX-L55 is on.

These buttons are used to select the input source.
They’re illuminated while the TX-L55 is on.

MASTER VOLUME control (33)

This control is used to set the volume of the
TX-L55.

PHONES jack (35)

This 1/4-inch phone jack is for connecting a stan-
dard pair of stereo headphones for private listening.

TUNING [

] buttons (36)

These buttons are used to tune the radio.

TONE, [–] & [+] buttons (52)

These buttons are used to adjust the bass and treble.
