TV, as shown.

Using S-Video

Use an S-Video cable to connect the TX-L55’s

If your TV has no audio outputs, connect the TX-L55 to
your VCR and use its tuner (see page 24).

Note:

• Initially, the OPT 1 digital input is assigned to the TV

input source. If you connect to a different digital audio
input or only to an analog input, you’ll need to assign
it to the TV input source (see page 31).

Using a Coaxial or Optical Connection

• Use an optical digital audio cable to connect the

TX-L55’s OPT 1 DIGITAL INPUT to the optical
output on your TV, as shown.

OR
• Use a coaxial digital audio cable to connect the

TX-L55’s COAX DIGITAL INPUT to the coaxial
output on your TV, as shown.

Using Analog Connections

If your TV doesn’t have digital audio outputs, or you
want to record from it, you’ll need to make the following
analog audio connections.
Use an analog audio cable to connect the TX-L55’s TV
IN L/R inputs to the analog audio outputs on your TV, as
shown.
