Inserting a disc

Turn on the DX-R700. (See page 16.)

Press the r button.
The disc tray opens. Place the disc with the
label-side up in the center of the tray.

The disc tray closes.
Memo:
• You can also press the s button to close
it.
• By pressing the r button in the standby
state, the power is automatically turned on.
• When the disc is inserted, the DX-R700
automatically scans the disc and displays the
type in the front display.

• The DX-R700 displays information of the
disc, including total recording number of
tracks and time, and remaining available
recording time. Displayed contents may vary
depending on the type of disc.
When unrecorded compact discs are
inserted, “Blank Disc” appears in the
display.
