Erasing the last track or tracks from the

selected track to the last track

Turn the MULTI JOG dial and select the
track to be erased.

If the selected track is the last track

The last track and, if available, its track name will
be erased.

If the selected track is not the last track

All tracks from the selected track to the last
track and, if available, their track names will be
erased.

Press the MULTI JOG dial.

Pressing the YES button provides the same
operation.

If the selected track is the last track

“Erase Last?” appears.

If the selected track is the first track

“Erase All?” appears. Pressing the YES button at
this point will erase all tracks from the first track
up to the last track.

If the selected track is neither of the above

“Ers: (Selected track number)-(Last track
number)?” appears.

Press MULTI JOG dial.

Pressing the YES button provides the same
operation.

If the selected track is the last track

“Erase Last??” appears.

If the selected track is the first track

All tracks from the first track up to the last track
will be erased.
Further, the disc name and artist name retained
in the unit will be erased when the disc is
ejected.

If the selected track is neither of the above

“Ers: (Selected track number)-(Last track
number)??” appears.

Press the MULTI JOG dial.

Pressing the YES button provides the same
operation.
Erasing begins. When completed, “Complete”
appears in the display and the DX-R700 will
stop.

Press the EDIT/NO button and turn the
MULTI JOG dial until “Erase?” appears.
