The “Borders”
“Yes/No” setting
does not take

• Are you using the small size

print paper?

• Are you operating the

Creative Print menu?

Cause/Solutions

cYou cannot print on the small size print

paper without borders. The “Borders”
“Yes/No” setting takes effect only when
you are using the postcard or 3.5 x 5 inch
size print paper. (

c In the Creative Print menu, templates

are used and you cannot select border/
borderless prints.

c Beeps sound to notify you that the

operation is invalid.

Saving or deleting an image

Symptom

You cannot save
an image.

You cannot
delete an image.

An image was
deleted
accidentally.

Check

• Is the memory card

protected?

• Is the write-protect switch

of the memory card in the
LOCK position?

• Is the memory card full?

• Is the memory card

protected?

• Is the image DPOF-preset?

• Is the write-protect switch

of the memory card in the
LOCK position?

• Are you using a “Memory

Stick-ROM”?

Cause/Solutions

c Release the protection and try saving

again.

c Slide the write-protect switch to the

write enable position. (

c Delete unnecessary images (.page

67), or replace it with a new memory
card with sufficient free memory space.
Save the image again.

c Release the protection with your digital

camera.

c Release the DPOF preset with your

digital camera.

c Slide the write-protect switch to the

write enable position. (

c You cannot delete an image from or

format a “Memory Stick-ROM”.

c You cannot recover an image once it is

deleted.
