5. Wipe the Transmissive Media Centre Sensor with a soft dry cloth to remove dirt or paper
particles.
11.2 Cleaning the Platen
1. Turn off the power and unplug the printer.
2. Open the Front Cover, Side Cover, and Upper Unit.
3. Wipe the rubber part of the Platen with a soft dry cloth to remove dirt or paper particles.
Precautions
･ Do not scratch the Platen using any sharp objects, as this may cause a print failure or
printer trouble.
