Snap Frame Deletion
A snap frame created on a PC can be transferred to a
MultiMediaCard using the provided software. Snap frames
that have been transferred to a MultiMediaCard can be
deleted when they are no longer needed.
There are 2 ways of deleting previously created snap
frames: by browsing through snap frames individually or
by deleting them all at once.
TO SELECT A SNAP FRAME BY BROWSING
SNAP FRAMES STORED IN MEMORY
1 Set the POWER Switch to “ MEMORY
PLAY
” while pressing
down the Lock Button located on the switch.
2 Press the MENU wheel. The Menu Screen appears.
3 Rotate the MENU wheel to select “ ” and press it.
“MEMORY MENU” appears.
4 Rotate the MENU wheel to select “FRAME DEL.” and
press it. The Sub Menu appears.
5 Rotate the MENU wheel to select “SELECT” and press
it. The DELETE Index Screen appears.
6 Rotate the MENU wheel to move the green frame to
the desired snap frame that you wish to delete and
press it. An “
” appears above the selected snap
frame.
Repeat this procedure for all snap frames that you
wish to delete.
To deselect a snap frame, press the MENU wheel
again. The “
” disappears.
7 Rotate the MENU wheel upward to select “EXIT” and
press it. The Deletion Confirmation Screen appears.
8 Rotate the MENU wheel to select “EXECUTE” and
press it. The selected snap frames are deleted and the
normal playback screen appears.
•To cancel deletion, rotate the MENU wheel to select
“CANCEL” and press it.
NOTES:
● If snap frames created on a PC have not been transferred
to a MultiMediaCard, it is not possible to delete them
using these steps.
● The snap frames in the camcorder’s memory cannot be
deleted.

CAUTION:
Do not remove the MultiMediaCard or
perform any other operation (such as
turning off the camcorder) during deletion.
Also, be sure to use the provided AC Power
Adapter/Charger, as the MultiMediaCard
may be corrupted if the battery becomes
exhausted during deletion. If the
MultiMediaCard becomes corrupted,
initialise it. (
