Panel Operations

Here you can save parameter settings as a scene, and recall them from the front panel or from Amp Editor.

A scene contains various amplifier settings such as the Standby/Power-On status, the parameter values of the com-

ponents, and the threshold values of the alerts. 00 is the default setting scene (read-only).

To access the SCENE screen, access the HOME screen and press the right-most function button (SCENE).

• Scene names can be shown on the amplifier’s display only in the following languages: English, German, French, Span-

ish, and Japanese. However, only English alphanumeric characters can be input from the amplifier’s panel. If you want to
display a German, French, Spanish, or Japanese scene name, enter the name in Amp Editor’s “Scene Manager” dialog
box.

• You can also specify a scene for EMG (Emergency), which will be recalled when an EMG signal is received from an

external controller

(page 23)

.

• For the current scene, the scene number will be highlighted.

Recalling a scene

Here’s how to recall the desired scene 00–49 from the scene list.

1.

In the HOME screen, press the right-most function button (SCENE) to access the SCENE screen.

2.

Use encoder A to select the scene number that you want to recall.

3.

Press the left-most function button (RECALL).

The recall confirmation screen will appear.

• If Scene Recall is set to Disable in the UTILITY screen Scene Setup, it won’t be possible to perform recall operations

from the front panel, so “RECALL” will not appear above the function button.

4.

Press the [ENTER] button to execute the recall.

If you decide to cancel the operation, press the [EXIT] button.
The number of the recalled scene is highlighted (the current scene) in the SCENE screen.

• While settings are being applied to the amplifier, the message “Do not turn off!” will be shown in the display. Never

power-off the amplifier while this message is displayed.
