5.3 Using the PhoneBook

The PhoneBook is your repository for up to

100 phone numbers arranged in alphabetical
order with tabs that group names in categories
matching the alpha-numeric keys on your key-
pad. You can quickly select a tab by pressing the
RIGHT/LEFT ARROW Rocker Pad and then
scrolling down to a listed name and number. To
view all data for a name, press

ENTER and the

“Edit Number” display will appear. A category
identified as “Other” can be used to hold notes
and temporary phone numbers recorded during
phone conversations. The “Other” category will
store entries that begin with a numeral or other
non-alpha characters only.

To dial a number using the PhoneBook:

1. Highlight the name of the person to be called and

press SEND. The name and phone number of the
person you are calling will appear on the Cellular
Status page and the “In Use” icon will appear in
the Status Bar.

Add or delete names and numbers from the

PhoneBook by pressing

MENU once you have

accessed the PhoneBook and selected a name.
