Video Alignment

Shows the card output video alignment relative to
selected video or reference sources.

This allows assessment of the card’s video timing/sync
relative to other video or house reference sources.

• Reference Relative-To Select

Selects the timing source to which the card’s output video is measured
against (in example here, card output video is measured relative to frame
Reference 1).

• Alignment Timing Display

Shows (in near real-time msec) the offset between the card’s output video
timing and the selected reference source.

Examples: With source set to Input Video, the card’s static latent delay is
shown. With Reference 1 selected, a slow drift indicates the card’s input is
not upstream frame synced or ref locked with this reference. A non-drifting
display would indicate that upstream video is ref locked to the selected
reference.
