Concert ActiveX Client for ENPS User Guide

4.4 Miscellaneous Client issues

Issue

Cause/Solution

ActiveX Client is not
responding (frozen).

Use Windows Task Manager to close the ENPS application
(End Task). If the application cannot be closed, click the Processes
Tab, and look for the vssoftpanel.exe application under the Image
Name
column: Memory usage should not be more than 18k.

CPU usage should not exceed 3-5 % in idle time (not on a call), and
10-15% when on a call (audio processing).

If CPU usage is high (close to 100%), end the application by clicking
on the process name (vssoftpanel.exe), click End Process.

Wait approximately 20 seconds before trying to reconnect into the
server after ending the process.
