Close Computer
1. Slide the logic board into the computer
(Figure 29).
2. Replace and tighten the four security screws
(Figure 30).
3. Return the computer to your computing area
and reconnect the power and peripheral cables
to the computer.
4. Affix the Powered by Sonnet label to the front
of your computer.
Turn On Computer
1. Turn on your Power Macintosh. Your newly
accelerated machine should boot as normal.
2. If you are installing an Encore/ZIF G4, see
Chapter 6, “Upgrading to Mac OS 9.x and a
G4” for information about enabling AltiVec
extensions in Mac OS and application software.
