Personalizing Your PPC6600

Backlight

1. Tap

>

Settings > System tab > Backlight.

2. Tap the

Battery Power tab to turn on/off the backlight

when using battery power.

3. Tap the External Power tab to turn on/off the backlight
when using external power.

4. Tap the Brightness tab to adjust the brightness level.

Note:

Using the backlight while on battery power substantially reduces
battery life.

Clock & Alarms

Tap

>

Settings > System tab > Clock & Alarms.

If you visit a particular time zone often, select it as your

Visiting time zone on the Time tab so that you can quickly

see the correct date and time.

You can use your device as a travel alarm clock by setting a
wake-up alarm on the

Alarms tab. Tap the alarm icon to select

the type of alarm you want.

To change the way the date or time is displayed on your
PPC6600, go to Regional Settings by tapping

System tab > Regional Settings.

Memory

Settings > System tab > Memory.

The Main tab displays the amount of memory the

system has allocated to file and data storage versus program
storage. This tab also displays the amount of memory in use

versus the available memory. For information about
